Cycling & Pleasure Cycling

Broaden your horizons - be with yourself

Be active and see something of the country at the same time. Cycle along quietly rippling waterways - instead of noisy traffic arteries - and enjoy the kilometres you travel across. Cycling is both deeply meditative and horizon-expanding - pedalling continuously at your own pace and getting to know the country and its people, culture and cuisine. Crossing borders and finding yourself a little bit more. This is exactly how pleasure cycling feels, and it is not without reason that it is becoming increasingly popular. You set the pace yourself, stop wherever you like and take your time - that's freedom on two wheels!

360° Alps, 100% nature. Waterways, the Alpine-Mediterranean lifestyle, the worldwide unique Dolomite panorama and untouched nature - the Puster Valley offers an unbeatable combination.

  • 3 long-distance cycle paths directly through the Puster Valley
  • Tours into 7 unspoilt alpine side valleys.
  • unique valley cycle paths along the Rienz and Drau rivers
  • Puster Valley cycle path - experience alpine life and alpine nature
  • extensive, asphalted network of routes in all directions
  • In the middle of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site
From Olang into the wide world
Long-distance cycle routes

Three popular long-distance cycle routes lead through the Puster Valley and directly through the alpine heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Set off from Olang into the distance:

  • Long-distance cycle route Munich Venezia - the Alpine crossing
  • Drau cycle route - the classic
  • Eurovelo 7 - the sun route

Olang offers you the perfect nature home base on your cycling trips along one of the popular themed long-distance cycle routes. Take the time for a piece of South Tyrol - before you set off again by bike into the big wide world ...

Take a rest in the Puster Valley!

In cycle touring, the journey is the destination. Cycle along the Rienz or the Drau, along the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park or the Three Peaks Nature Park, along farmed alpine pastures and traditional South Tyrolean customs.
