The Kronplatz offers a special highlight this winter season: the longest torchlit descent in the Alps. This magical event, held at the Olang 1+2 valley station in Gassl, combines traditional torchlit skiing with a modern laser show. The warm glow of the torches illuminating the snowy slopes meets a futuristic laser show, creating a unique atmosphere under the clear night sky. The experience is enhanced with live commentary and musical accompaniment.

From September 19 to 22, Olang will host four days of collective action to pick up litter during the SÜDTIROL CleanUP Days! This large-scale cleanup effort is organized by the non-profit association Patron.
Registration and route coordination are managed through the CleanUP Map (interactive map) on www.plasticfreepeaks.com. Participants can choose the date and route of their chosen tour directly on the platform. The required CleanUP Kit, available to all interested, includes a recyclable and reusable fabric bag and stainless steel tongs, which can be picked up free of charge at the Olang Tourism Association before setting out.
