This mountain bike tour to the Antholz Valley promises a lot of variety and a great stop for refreshments. You start off via the Pustertal bike route to Welsberg and on to Taisten. From there, after about 10 kilometers, the climb of the day begins up to the Taistner Vorderalm alpine hut. When you reach the hut at over 2,000 meters above sea level, most of the climb is already behind you and a stop is definitely deserved. After another 200 meters in altitude, the highest point is reached and from now on the route descends in a varied manner over alpine meadows and forest paths into the Antholz valley. From there, the bike path leads slightly downhill back to Olang.
